Marc-Reiner Schmidt wins the 3rd round of the Italian championship in Pomposa

SWM BRT rider Marc-Reiner Schmidt has won the third round of the 2017 Italian Supermoto championship last weekend in Pomposa. The German rider was the fastest in the timed practice and in both races on Sunday. The SWM factory had to battle hard for his race wins in Pomposa as fellow countryman Husqvarna rider Markus Class was on the charge for the lead in both races as well. With a gap of only 00:261 seconds in race 1 and 00:587 seconds in race 2 both Germans fought it out until the finish line leaving the rest of the field in the Supermoto class behind. With a third and fifth place, L30 Honda Racing rider Andrea Occhini took the last place on the podium in Pomposa.
